PRODUCT FORMULATION AND DEVELOPMENT
The formula is a combination of BROAD-SPECTRUM ingredients. Dr. SkinAid® is a cream emulsion of bioactive ingredients, plant oils and water-soluble hydrating and moisturizing oils. The cream is absorbed by the skin and not greasy on contact. Dr. SkinAid® is formulated to function as safe and natural home aid for short and long-term uses* (consult your doctor for long-term use). Dr. SkinAid® formulators have over 20 years of experience in blending essential oils and natural ingredients. Because of this wealth of experience and knowledge, they know which essential oils plant extracts and bioactives work well together and at which percentage. This ensures the synergy needed for beneficial effects. Dr. SkinAid® is manufactured in a state-of-the-art 70,000 square-foot FDA and GMP-approved facility. Part of the unparalleled knowledge and expertise in natural ingredients is strict Quality Control. The manufacturing process complies with the exacting personal care standards in a medical-grade cGMP facility. cGMP stands for “current Good Manufacturing Practice”, which refers to FDA regulations regarding the manufacturing, testing, and quality control of pharmaceutical and food products. We at Dr. SkinAid® work hard to ensure our products have the very best combination of ingredients—combinations that work hard on improving skin conditions. We make intelligent, responsible raw material choices, and whenever possible, obtain materials from renewable plant resources. At times we choose not to use a plant-derived material for reasons of efficacy, consistency and safety. We support animal rights so we do not test our products on animals. Our products do not contain parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, mineral oil, lanolin, artificial fragrance or artificial colors. Dr. SkinAid® strictly practices truthful labelling by listing all ingredients on every label and as well as share additional information below for consumer awareness.

It mimics the fat or lipid that skin is composed of and is essential for the prevention of moisture. In addition, the ingredient also prevents skin damage while helping it retain its natural shape, enhances its emulsifying properties, and minimizes swelling or dryness.
Due to its antiseptic properties, tea tree oil is often recommended as a natural aid for cuts, acne, burns, herpes, rashes and other skin ailments.
Olive oil works as an antioxidant, complements all skin types and valued as a natural skincare aid. It promotes the skin elasticity and is good for people who have aging, sensitive or dry skin.
